Cape Town Waterfront at Night

Set right at the tip of the African continent, dangling between the icy Atlantic and warm Indian Ocean, is Cape Town. The city is an eclectic collection of cultures, languages and landscapes.

A Cape Town holiday will immerse you in a world of remarkable beauty and diversity that is distinctly Capetonian and uniquely South African.

Reach the top of Cape Town's greatest natural landmark, Table Mountain and enjoy unsurpassed views of the city.

Furthermore, seasons in Cape Town are quite straightforward. Winter (July - August) is relatively cold and wet and summer (November - March) is hot. Be warned though - winters in Cape Town have started to become predominantly warmer, clearer and drier. So if you're planning on travelling at this time, you should consider packing a pair of shorts just in case you land up on the beach.
Temperatures range between 7 and 18 degrees Celsius in winter and can reach up to 35 degrees Celsius in summer - although the Cape Doctor, a south easterly wind, generally keeps things bearable.

Cape Town's busiest time is from Christmas to late January, and high season is generally during the rest of summer (November to February). Easter and other school holidays are also busy times.
Low season is the rainy winter season (June to August). Whale watching season along the Cape coast is between June and November, while those in search of wild flowers will want to visit in spring, between August and September.

Have fun and see this wonder of Africa!

Explore the wonders of Tahiti Island!

Tahiti is the largest island in the Windward group of French Polynesia, located in the archipelago of Society Islands in the southern Pacific Ocean. The capital is Papeete, on the northwest coast. Tahiti has also been known as O'tahiti.

Tahitians are French citizens with nearly full civil and political rights. French is the official language but the Tahitian language and the French language are both in use.
Black pearl farming is also a substantial source of revenues, most of the pearls being exported to Japan, Europe and the US. Tahiti also exports vanilla, fruits, flowers, monoi, fish, coprah oil, and noni. Unemployment affects about 13% of the active population, especially women and unqualified young people.

Furthermore, the ʻōteʻa, sometimes written as otea, is a traditional dance from Tahiti, where the dancers, standing in several rows, execute different figures.

Faa'a International Airport is the international airport of Tahiti with Air Tahiti Nui being the national airline while Air Tahiti is the main airline for inter-island flights. The Moorea Ferry is also a notable ferry that operates from Papeete. There are also several ferries that transport people and goods throughout the islands.

Great Wall of China

The Great Wall was originally built in the Spring, Autumn, and Warring States Periods as a defensive fortification by the three states: Yan, Zhao and Qin. The Great Wall went through constant extensions and repairs in later dynasties. In fact, it began as independent walls for different states when it was first built, and did not become the "Great" wall until the Qin Dynasty. Emperor Qin Shihuang succeeded in his effort to have the walls joined together to fend off the invasions from the Huns in the north after the unification of China. Since then, the Great Wall has served as a monument of the Chinese nation throughout history. A visit to the Great Wall is like a tour through the history backwards; it brings tourists great excitement in each step of the wall. A great army of manpower, composed of soldiers, prisoners, and local people, built the wall. The construction result demonstrates the manifestation of the wisdom and tenacity of the Chinese people.A great army of manpower, composed of soldiers, prisoners, and local people, built the wall. Victoria Falls, Africa

Livingstone, Zambia
Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

I searched through the Internet about some wonders in Africa and I found out this extraordinary waterfall, Victoria Falls which makes Africa the famous place for tourist to visit.

Victoria Falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. David Livingstone a Scottish explorer is believed to have been the first European to view the Victoria Falls. and this is the name in use in Zimbabwe. The older, indigenous name of Mosi-oa-Tunya is the name in official use in Zambia. The World Heritage List recognises both names. While it is neither the highest nor the widest waterfall in the world, it is claimed to be the largest. If you're planning a trip to Southern Africa you simply have to witness this mile-long curtain of falling water.

Getting to Victoria:

By Road

From Zimbabwe: Cross the border at the town of Victoria Falls over the famous Victoria Falls Bridge, carry straight on this road for about 7 miles (11 kms).

From Botswana: Cross the border at Kazungula by ferry, and continue east for about 37 miles (60 kms).

From Lusaka: Livingstone is 290 miles (470 kms). Take the southbound Kafue Road out of Lusaka and just after the Kafue River Bridge, turn right towards Mazabuka. This road leads straight to Livingstone.

By Plane

Air Zimbabwe has regular flights to Victoria Falls from Harare. Air Namibia flies from Windhoek and South African Airways fly from Johannesburg.

Adelaide Skyline, Australia

Adelaide is the capital and most populous city of the Australian state of South Australia, and is the fifth-largest city in Australia.

Named in honour of Queen Adelaide who was born in Germany, the consort of King William IV, the city was founded in 1836 as the planned capital for the only freely-settled British province in Australia. Colonel William Light, one of Adelaide's founding fathers, designed the city and chose its location close to the River Torrens in the area originally inhabited by Indigenous Australians of the Kaurna tribe. Light's design set out Adelaide in a grid layout, interspaced by wide boulevards and large public squares, and entirely surrounded by parkland. Early Adelaide was shaped by religious freedom and a commitment to political progressivism and civil liberties, which led to world-first reforms.

Today, Adelaide is noted for its many festivals and sporting events, its food, wine and culture, its long beachfronts, and its large defence and manufacturing sectors. It continues to rank highly as a livable city, being in the Top 10 in The Economist's World's Most Livable Cities index.

Cebu City, Philippines - Mactan's Cross

Cebu City, Philippines is one of the place where most tourists will never miss to visit. Know why? It is because only in Cebu City they will see the historic Magellan's Cross made by the ancient Spaniards as they conquer Philippines before.

Magellan's Cross is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on April 21, 1521.

This cross is housed in a small chapel next to the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño on Magallanes Street (Magallanes being the Spanish name of Magellan), just in front of the city hall of Cebu City. A sign below the cross claims that the original cross is encased inside the wooden cross that is found in the center of this chapel. This is to protect the original cross from people who chipped away parts of the cross for souvenir purposes or in the belief that the cross possesses miraculous powers. Some people, however, believe that the original cross had been destroyed or had disappeared after Magellan's death, and the cross is a replica that was planted there by the Spaniards after they successfully colonized the Philippines.

Magellan's Cross is a symbol of Cebu City and the chapel's image can be found in its city seal. It is also seen as the symbol of Roman Catholicism and a tourist attraction in the Philippines.

I recommend you to include in your travel list visiting Cebu City, Philippines. Aside from its clean environment, the people are warm and friendly. Furthermore, there are many extraordinary places that excites your zest to visit Cebu again and again!
